2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit, your browser sends technical data (IP address, date and time, browser type, requested page) that is processed to deliver the site and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel may process data in the USA; transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses.

3. Ratings and suggestions

When you rate a dupe or send a suggestion, we store the values you enter together with a random identifier that your browser creates (no name, no email). It is used only to prevent duplicate ratings. Data is stored with Supabase Inc. (servers in the EU, Frankfurt). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Local storage

We save the random identifier and which dupes you already rated in your browser’s local storage. No tracking cookies are set by dupeguide itself. You can delete this data anytime in your browser settings.

5. Affiliate links

If you click a shop link (e.g. Amazon), you leave our website. The shop may set cookies to attribute the purchase to us. Please see the shop’s privacy policy.

6. Advertising (Google AdSense)

If ads are shown, they are provided by Google Ireland Ltd. Google may use cookies to show ads. Personalised ads are only shown after you give consent in the consent banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent anytime.
